a work-at-home wife’s journey within the four walls called HOME

I instantly remembered my late Mamang. The scene during our flight back to Cotabato is so vivid that it seems it just happened yesterday. I could clearly recall the flight attendants holding the in flight portable oxygen concentrators so Mamang could breath. I commend the flight attendants of Philippine Airlines for being so accommodating and brave! I know they are afraid for anytime Mamang will die while we are up in the air but I haven’t seen any sign of fear from them. Two of the flight attendants focused on Mamang while the other one is attending the needs of the other passengers. Mamang survived the flight with the help of the oxygen concentrators of the airline though I didn’t request for those when I booked the flight and told them that one passenger is in a stretcher.

Can’t wait…

Got many tasks due today so I am working like crazy now. We’re going to the beach tomorrow and will be back on Sunday so I need to finish everything before I shut off my eyes. It’s been a long day…having done some tasks in the morning until early afternoon, did the laundry, the dishes, and other chores. Wish I have ten pair of hands so I could do all at the same time!LOL. This beach getaway is what we really need. We need a break from the daily work routine. We need fresh air and super nice place close to nature and this is the simplest way that we can have. Anyway, before I head on to my other blogs, I need to check for some term life insurance quotes that would be helpful should we decide to get our own life insurance. Can’t wait for tomorrow but I wish to stop the time for a moment so I could finish all my pending tasks.

‘Till next time!

Summer means vacation

Summer is definitely here! The scorching heat of the sun and the breeze reminds me of my childhood summer experiences. For more than a couple of times we spent summer vacation at my Daddy’s hometown – Pagadian City. We stayed at my grandfather’s house overlooking the city and the sea – the reason why we love being there! We’re living too far from the sea that’s why it’s a heaven for me to see the blue waters every day during our stay in Pagadian. Though vacation is not as grand as staying at one of the  Outer Banks vacation rentals but just spending weeks bonding with relatives, eating and swimming at the beach and at the river, it was one of the best childhood memories.

Since summer is a great time for outdoor activities, I wouldn’t want to let this pass without spending a day or two at the beach! We still have to decide when and where to go but definitely we’re going to one of the beaches in Samal or Talicud Island.
